The Caballé pairing & quadding machine is a double twist strander suitable for stranding and cabling insulated conductors with or without taping.
It can be used to produce for example aerospace, coaxial, control, data, instrumentation, marine, petrochemical, railway, LAN cables, telecom pairs and quads. The stranding/cabling speed is much higher than the one achieved with a single twist strander.
The reel is held by pintles which are pneumatically opened and closed by springs.
