At booth K09, our wire and cable specialists will present our extrusion technology, with a focus on processing halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) compounds. Our extrusion lines feature a patented extruder design and a precise thermoregulation system that ensures optimal melt temperature control and consistently high output quality, making them a top-performing asset for these materials in the market. Built for long-term performance, our extrusion lines support a wide range of insulation and jacketing applications while minimizing maintenance requirements, making them a valuable asset for a high-demand market.
Another must-see, especially for wire and rope producers, will be our Pail Packer Machine (PPM), a highly efficient drum take-up system designed to reduce or eliminate permanent twists. Designed for a wide range of materials, including high, medium, and low-carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, CO₂, and flux-cored wires. The PPM handles coils of up to 2 tons. It features a user-friendly design that increases productivity, reduces maintenance and operational costs, and allows an energy-efficient downstream payoff since it minimizes snarls and improves handling.
We will also display MFL Group’s signature mechanical descaling system for rod preparation, Draweasy. It offers a more sustainable, harsh chemical-free alternative to acid pickling, that not only increases productivity, but also achieves higher quality standards than other mechanical descaling equipment on the market. This patented technology was designed for a broad range of wire types including steel cord, bead wire, spring wire, welding wire, low carbon wires, and more.
In order to complete the rod preparation process, we also provide Electrolytic Phosphating lines, which prepares the road and wire for further mechanical processing and are suitable for both single-wire and multi-wire treatment. These plants are designed to improve drawability and oxidation resistance, especially in demanding applications like Low Relaxation Prestressed Concrete (LRPC) strand and wire. This combination ensures superior surface preparation, enabling higher quality and consistency in the final wire products.
