An EPD is a standardized document based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data. It provides a verified overview of a product’s environmental impact across its entire lifecycle—from production to end-of-life.
For wire and cable producers, this means access to clear and comparable data, supporting more informed decisions alongside traditional performance criteria.
Introducing an EPD adds a new dimension to how production equipment is evaluated. Not only output and reliability, but also environmental impact becomes measurable and transparent.
This step is part of a broader focus on energy efficiency, responsible manufacturing, and long-term impact reduction.
Because building machinery for wire production also means supporting more informed and sustainable choices across the industry.
