NEXT STOP: CABLE & WIRE (INDIA), HALL 3 BOOTH Q1-1

We look forward to meeting wire, cable, and rope manufacturers from across the region at Cable & Wire Fair 2025 — a great opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and present our evolving product portfolio.
With over 125 years of experience, MFL Group — a family-owned company with Italian roots — designs and manufactures drawing, stranding, extrusion, and treatment lines, together with digital solutions (MFL X ecosystem) that elevate performance, enhance process control, and maximize production value.

Highlights in Wire & Cable (non ferrous)

We will showcase our complete production line for solar cables, a complex yet seamlessly integrated system designed to produce high-quality cables for solar energy applications. Our portfolio covers the entire process — from the rod breakdown machine, tinning line, multiwire drawing line, and double stranding machine to the final extrusion line.
Visitors will have the chance to discover the new TS2 compact rod breakdown machine, which delivers 1% real slip, high energy efficiency, and exceptional performance. The multiwire drawing line stands out for its high production efficiency, low energy consumption, and minimal maintenance, operating at speeds of up to 35 m/s with a quick die-change system that reduces downtime.

The DTO double twist strander, now available for bobbins up to 2500 mm, combines high-speed operation with unmatched reliability, wireless data transfer, automated reel extraction, and automatic bearing greasing.

On the main stage, we will highlight our HFFR extrusion line, recognized as the best in its class for performance, reliability, and consistent output. Its patented extruder design and precise thermoregulation system ensure optimal melt temperature control and superior insulation quality.

Highlights in Wire & Rope (ferrous)

In the wire and rope division, we are proud to showcase the excellence of Mario Frigerio, the company’s historic brand that has set the standard for wire and rope drawing technology since 1897. Our drawing lines, featuring capstan diameters up to 1200 mm, are renowned for efficiency, durability, and Italian engineering quality. Every detail — from the in-house designed high-efficiency gearbox and patented capstan cooling system to induction-hardened capstans, optimized lubrication, and top-grade coatings — is engineered to increase productivity, extend component life, and simplify operation. With a modular, foundation-free design and a capacity from rod inlet up to Ø 24 mm, these lines deliver consistent performance across low, medium, high-carbon, stainless steel, and zinc alloy wires.

We will also present our induction tempering line (IT Line), a benchmark for spring and automotive wire production. Combining flexibility and consistency, it replaces oil-tempered systems with a cleaner, more sustainable induction-based process. This environmentally friendly solution maintains excellent metallurgical quality while increasing efficiency and reducing maintenance. With productivity from 500 to 3000 kg/h and wire diameters ranging from 6 to 21 mm, the IT line ensures fast setup, automatic threading, minimal scratching, and precise in-line defect control. Several IT lines are operating successfully worldwide, from India to China, from United States to Italy.

We look forward to welcoming you to our booth in Hall 3, Q1-1, and exploring how our technology can support your next project.
