GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

No matter what your sheathing process may require, single layer, co-extrusion or tandem extrusion, the FRIGECO SLP SERIES Sheathing Line for Building Wires and Cables will provide a consistent and repeatable  process and the highest level of productivity and reliability in the market.

  • Extended processing materials range: PVC, PE, XLPE, HFFR, PP, PUR
  • Sheathing process:
    • Single layer extrusion: one extruder for a single layer of material
    • Co-extrusion: 2 or 3 extruders for a multi-layer filling+sheathing or filling+sheathing+skin process.
    • Tandem extrusion: 2 separate extrusion groups, for a multi-layer filling+sheathing or filling+sheathing+skin process.
  • Maximum cable Ø: 30 mm
  • Maximum production speed: 400 m/min

  • Pay-off Systems: POP - Portal type Ø 1600 mm
  • Main Extruder: EXB120 - Thermo-regulated extruder
  • Cooling Trough: CTR800 - Trough with separate tanks and idle pulleys
  • Pulling Device: CAC800 - Caterpillar
  • Take-up: TUP - Portal type Ø 1600 mm
