Tubular Stranding and Closing Machine


The tubular stranding machine is a back-twist strander for producing conductors of high quality and productivity. It is ideal for the production of:

  • Round compacted strands, copper and aluminum
  • Round normal AAC and strands with hard drawn aluminum and copper wires
  • Sector conductors
  • AAAC and ACSR strands up to 19 wires (in one or two passes)
  • Steel strands with regular, high and extra high strength wires
  • Laying up of flexible strands for flexible rope constructions
  • Armoring of optical core elements with steel wires.
  • Laying up of insulated cores
