GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Our ILA Insulation line for automotive applications is designed to reach the highest production speeds while decreasing the scrap rate to the minimum possible. The line can be completed with automatic color change for the main color, skin or stripe.

  • Extended processing materials range: PVC, PE, XLPE, HFFR, PPE, TPE, PP.
  • Cable size range: 0.22 – 7.0 mm2
  • Maximum cable diameter: 5.0 mm
  • Maximum production speed: 1500 m/min

LINE CONFIGURATION

  • Pay-off Systems: POD - Double conical of dia. 630 mm
  • Main Extruder: EXB60 - Thermo-regulated extruder
  • Pulling device: Pulling capstan inside the cooling trough
  • Cooling trough: CTV400 - High speed trough with multi-pass
  • Take-up: TUD400 - Double Automatic for conical reels of dia. 400 mm

  • Improved take-up for conical reels (TUD400) able to use any kind of conical reel with the optimum  performance.
  • Super high speed cooling and drying section.
  • Consistency of data: the thermoregulation is onboard the extruder. No electrical noise, less interruptions of service.
