GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Available for Copper, Aluminium, Bimetallic and Alloy wires
  • Mono or twin-wire configuration
  • Up to 16 drawing blocks

  • Wire elongation on each block 7 to 55%
  • Inlet wire diameter up 9,5 mm

ELECTRICAL / ELECTRONIC FEATURES

  • Individually driven capstans (multi-motor) to minimize wire slip, precisely control wire elongation, improve wire surface quality, increase useful life of the capstan and decrease energy consumption by 20%
  • Drives and motors are interchangeable and can be turned off when skipping capstans
  • AC motors with flux vector control inverters to obtain maximum precision and minimize maintenance
  • Installed AC motors are up to 90 kW
  • Operator’s HMI allows to input production settings, observe statistics, identify maintenance requirements

  • Possibility to draw two different diameters at the same time
  • Monolithic rugged structure for easy transportation and installation
  • Horizontal axis, forged steel tungsten carbide coated capstans
  • Drawing area totally immersed in lubricant
  • Totally immersed adjustable die holders with additional high-pressure lubrication system
  • Rotating final die holder with high pressure lubricant jet to maintain die roundness
  • Double labyrinth sealing system avoids lubricant leakage
